About Me
I have been happily married for 11 years and have 5 beautiful children. I grew up wanting to be a wife and mom. I researched everything baby and everything I felt I would need to know for motherhood. When I was 16, I was asked to watch children while their mother gave birth to their baby sister at home. This was my first experience with birth outside the hospital. From that moment on, I knew I wanted home births and wanted to help educate other women in their birth choices.
I believe birth is a natural process. I believe there is a time and place for interventions and medications. I believe in a mother’s intuition and in her ability to make her own decisions. As a doula, I support those decisions and respect all parents. I strive to provide evidence based information, give emotional support and provide the best physical support I can!
Whether you are birthing at home, birthing center or hospital, whether you want a natural, unmedicated birth, a natural, medicated birth, an induced birth or a cesarean, I will be there for you and your partner. I will answer your questions, help you overcome your fears, and validate your feelings.
